  • [Forum] Mobile Style lacking New Posts function

It appears that the Mobile Style does not have a New Posts function. Isn't this one of the most important function in forums?

Are there any plans to add a New Posts function?

You mean like a "What's New?" section for recent posts?

Correct. Clicking the What's New tab is the same as clicking New Posts when the Forum tab is showing.

Oh, I thought you were saying that the mobile style didn't have the option to CREATE new posts.

Is this going to be addressed? Either a Today's Posts or New Posts button on the top of the theme would be very useful.

Actually both are needed. The Today's Posts would be used if you are not logged in and New Posts if you're logged in.

It's more than useful it a feature that will make or break this application.

Here is a JIRA, please vote to get this fixed ASAP.

You will probably have to make a "bug" report on it in the tracker or they won't do anything about it.

Andy posted a link to the bug report he wrote asking to have the New Posts function added. Please vote!

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

We both got confused due to two new features being added. One is the Mobile Style, the other is the Mobile Application.

I incorrectly linked the JIRA issue for the Mobile Application even though this thread is about the Mobile Style.

This is a show stopper for my site. My users will not sift though a few dozen forums to see what's new.

I would vote on it then, if you want it changed.

Must we vote for such a rudimentary feature?
