  • [Forum] 4.1.0 PL2 Upgrade issue class_upgrade_ajax.php

    Trying to upgrade from 4.1.0 PL2 to 4.1.1 and I get this error at the start of the upgrade.

    Code:
    Unexpected Text:
    <br />
    <b>Fatal error</b>:  Call to undefined method vB_AJAX_XML_Builder::print_xml_header() in <b>/httpdocs/forum/install/includes/class_upgrade_ajax.php</b> on line <b>371</b><br />

    Looks like the files have not been uploaded correctly. Reupload the files and make sure tht version 4.21.1 is showing in the upper right-hand corner of the upgrade page.

      Re uploading now. It did have 4.1.1 in the top right, but I'll see what happens after the upload. I'll be back in a bit

        Now I get this error after reloading the files.

        Code:
        mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)
        /httpdocs/forum/includes/class_core.php on line 314

          Assuming the db info in your config.php file is correct, this is a server issue. Please see this page for the causes of this error:
