[CMS] Stack overflow on line 9 ?

Internet explorer 8, Windows XP. All up to date service packs. When go to my home page, I get this error in a popup box: "Stack overflow on line 9". This occurs with either my custom style or the default one. I also get the little error triangle at the bottom. This is what it shows:

That definitely looks like an issue with a modification. What's the URL?

I think the only mod I have for the CMS is the vbH easy tabs from .org I can try disabling the hooks and see if it still does it but this never happened before I upgraded to 4.1 I just happened to open an IE window because I was going to login with a test account when I got it. I always use Firefox and it never shows up.

To troubleshoot this, first reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file. Then run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version and that none show 'File does not contain expected contents':

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

[Note: In some cases you may also need to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory.]

Next, disable all products (except vB Blog and vB CMS if you are running the Suite.)

Admin CP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Disable

Then manually uncheck all plugins that are not for 'vBulletin Blog' and vBulletin CMS' here:

Admin CP -> Plugins & Products -> Plugin Manager

You must do BOTH of those steps in order to disable all non vBulletin Modifications.

Then if you still have this problem, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it.

i posted here as it looks like the same issue.

this is a stock install on my test server no mods. any idea why i would be getting this error??

tom if I recall correctly from my experience with this it was generated from old facebook xml code in an html widget I had made to show my FB fan page in my homepage. I removed the contents of the widget and entered the new Facebook code and it went away.
