    Can anybody tell me why newsproxy.php is using 37% of my CPU? My server load has shot up today.

    cpu 37.0 %/usr/bin/php /home/directory/public_html/admincp/newsproxy.php

    Do you have a and RSS feeds posting on your forums? That ios the most likely cause of this.

      No I don't.

      When I visit myurl.com/newsproxy.phpI get the following.

      This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

        This is trying to access the vbulletin.com servers for the latest news. There is no reason that would cause a large spike in CPU usage unless your server is having trouble connecting to vbulletin.com. At this point you should contatc your host about thisd.
