Is there a way to have a portion of the forums reside on a second website. I am fine with buying a second license key. Specificly what I am trying to acomplish is as follows.

I own two domain names. One has a very active forums setup on it, and is the main site, and the other is a super good SEO name for selling a particular product. The main site has what started as a place for me to keep things for sale out of the main discussion area but has evolved into a sort of a Craigs List for this particular area.

I want to expand this section, but I want to split it onto the better SEO domain name. I could just do a second install, but I need the user login database to still be linked, and I would like the thread info to still show up on the main page of the first site.

I suspect that explanation was as clear as mud, but if anyone has an idea of what I am talking about please let me know if this is feasible.
