  • [CMS] How to show "Section" for Guests but not the articles (only preview)

    Vbull 4.1.0 p2, IIS server.

I want guest to view all sections (menu on the left side), and previews of the articles.. but not be able to view the complete articles... How do I make this setting?

Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

When is the CMS going from beta to a product I can use? Refund on my suite payment??

The software missing a feature you desire does not make it a beta product.

If you ONLY want to show the sections that is not possible. If you want to show sections and article previews that might be possible if you take the time to setup the articles/cms section permissions correctly.

It seems like sections won't show, though you can get articles to display in a higher level section as a preview. It looks like the issue is due to a lack of cms permissions.

Top level section > Shows article content from all subsections
Lower section is not viewable by guests
            Articles can be previewed

widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
