[Forum] Migrate only database of Vbulletin with new Cpanel username

I have migrate my vbulletin to a new server last week.

As the database is outdated, I like to migrate only the database to the new server now.

How can I do now?

Another problem is the cpanel username is different in the new server so the name of the database is different.

What do you mean 'database is outdated'? As for the db info, you would just edit the config.php file with the new info.

Note: The only reliable method of backing up and restoring a database is with shell access via telnet or ssh. This is because backing up with a PHP script like that in the Admin CP or phpMyAdmin can result in PHP timeouts errors and an incomplete backup file. Please see the instructions here:
