[Forum] Locked out of VB

So for a while now i wasnt able to log into my site, it took like 7 or 8 tries before it would let me in....now i am locked out permitly i cant get in the admin cp i have tried 4 different computers, i have empty my cache i have restarted my computer and tried IE Google Crom and Safari....does anyone know how i can fix this

What did you do before this started? What happens exactly when you try to log in? Did you try the lost password reset email?

its not the reset password becuase i reseted not to long ago, and i have 3 profiles i cant log on anyof them....what happeneds is i will type the username and password and it will say thank you for logging in then it will bring me back to the home screen...it has been doing this for a while but after a bunch of attempts i could get in...however now i cant get in at all.

This is probably a cookie domain/path issue. To fix this, upload the tools.php script in the 'do_not_upload' folder of the vB zip file to your Admin CP directory and run it from your browser. Use this to reset the cookie domain and path back to the defaults. And then leave your cookie domain and path at the default settings. There is no reason to change these. If you need to specify a unique cookie, use the cookie prefix setting in config.php instead.

I changed my Admin password as Administrator user of the Forum and now I can not log in.
The Forum is blank, just installed 2 days ago, nothing in there.

Is it possible to get vBulletin to reset it?

Edit: all OK now. Cookies cleared and now OK. Phew!
