  • [Forum] Search engine issue

    Helo,

When I search for something on a search engine that is written on my side, so I find it, but it is archived, and if click on the link will lead you to a page that is not the thread on the forum, but archive, you have to click 'View Full Version' if you want to come to the thread to see the full version, example:

    www.******.**/archive/index.php/t-****.html

I do not want anything to be archived, how can I avoid this?

(If there is any merit in that threads are archived so you are welcome to explain what it would be)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Sincerely, mis
    From Sweden.

You may turn off the archive - vboptions > Search Engine Friendly Archive > Forum Archive Enabled > No

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Will not search engine spiders stop to find text on my side if I do it?

If you don't have a robots.txt file to tell them not to spider certain pages, then they should do just fine. It's just easier for them to spider the archive pages.
