[Forum] Cant log in to CP.

I am having a problem I cant log in to my CP or the site it keeps saying that my password is invalid, I tryed to change my password , But the password that get's emailed to me does not work. what can I do?
IT is VB 40

Sound like a problem with an add-on. What did you change immediately before this problem started? Can you register a new account?

I didn't change anything , I could register a new account in the forum but that wouldn't let me in to my Control Panel. My password wont work when I try to login to my Control Panel I have tried everything upper case lower case nothing works .

Register a new account on your forums. Upload the tools.php script in the 'do_not_upload' folder of the vB zip file to your Admin CP directory, then run it from your browser. Use this to promote your user to Admin using this option:

[Reset Admin Access]

Then immediately remove this script.
