For gods sake, would the developers please keep their hands off the CSS the next time? I updated a forum for a customer, which already took me days of constructing them the CSS, because they had real difficult conditions in their design. And now, after updating to vBulletin 4.1.0 some of the elements are just way off again. White font on white background. White, where there hasn't been white. Not usable at this point of time.
The CSS of 4.0.x was already something awful. We have installed an own CSS in the database, to be able to make the desired design. If you had constructed the CSS-engine in a better way, in order to be able to define anything and not just small parts of it, we hadn't had to develop our own CSS with a lot of cascading stuff.
The problems we now have will take hours to resolve and noone pays me for it. vBulletin once didn't touch the design engine in major versions, when once developed. And now from 4.0.x to 4.1.x a lot of stuff changed. Why?
You don't pay our time which we have in invest to get rid of the errors and problems. My customer doesn't pay it. And I am the idiot in the middle. Thanks a lot. Really *sarcasm on*
