[CMS] Add Banner to home page

How can I add a banner to the home page under the menu bar?

Can it be added to the forums as well?

I don't know much about the code and if anyone could point me to the right place it will be greatly appreciated.

In the Admin CP, you can go to Advertising and create an add and paste into it your banner code. You'll be given the choice of where to place it. The other option is to create a HTML widget and paste your code into it, then add it to your layout using hte Layout Manager.

Looks good from my home computer but on the iPad and iPhone the banner is stretched way out to the side.

ok added width="100%" after the url and it looks fine for every mobile device i tested it on, ipad, iphone.

sometimes is better to use max-width:100% so that it won't go beyond the real dimensions
