[Forum] How to remove the Facebook Connect button?

I was trying to get the "like" button to work by itself, but I learned the hard way, from vBSEO that you must turn on the facebook platform, which includes the connect button.

But I DON'T want the facebook [connect] button. Its stupid.

How can I remove the connect button and move on from there with the "like" button enabled?

Secondly, which stylevars are forum leaders background box located? And which stylevar can I edit the "what's going on" box? I know how to find the category strip for it, but not the box itself.

I edited them before, but I forgot where I did tho.

You can remove the facebook connect button that is in the upper right corner of the page by editing it out of the header template.

Background of users in showgroups is from ".blockbody", so change blockbody_background.

The items in the What's Going On box are using the background in ".wgo_block .blockbody", and that is from secondarycontent_background

I fixed everything except the blockbody_background, it turns out that it edits another variable.

I've been trying to put "like" and twitter buttons next to each other [globally, so that visitors can like the site]. To no avail.

I tried putting this in the one of the blocks on the sidebar, I tried putting it in the header template, and now I am lost.

blockbody_background worked fine to change the background of the row regarding the user. If that isn't what you want, you will have to supply an image showing what you want.

Modifying the code to add the twitter info is something you should get help with over on vbulletin.org, the modification site.

For background to Mark Forums Read box, do a Search in Templates for ".navlinks"

For the background to the My Messages box, do a Search in Templates for "#usercp_nav .blockrow"
