Can they change their password? Have them try doing that first, then go back and change the email. It has to do with whether they registered via facebook or not. (At least, that is the normal time I see this problem.)

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

I know there isn't. I just created a new user using the facebook link on my site. I then went to the link to modify my email/password. I was able to modify my password just by entering the new password in both of those fields. Once I did that, the field showed up that asks for your password to modify the email. So, try just typing in a new password first (in both fields). Save. Then see if the old password field shows up.

Try this. Create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Then change to this style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

If you do, empty your browser cache, close all browser windows and try again.

If you do not have this problem with the original templates, then this means the problem is with one or more of your custom templates. You need to revert your templates, then redo your changes.

Is that sarcasm? If so, in every case above, you got an answer the same day. Why don't you answer Steve's last question? Just do exactly what Steve said to do.

Are you logging in via facebook set up user or a vbulletin user? What is in the database in the usertable under the field logintype for that particular userid?

You didn't answer either of my questions. And, I can't tell what it is you 'tried but no success' since you didn't specify what you tried with no success.
