[Forum] Profile pages still not fixed?

I am currently on 4.1.0 PL1. I did the query explained here: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/conte...Profile-Style.
as a temporary fix when 4.0.8 was released. It fixed it to some extend although I have dark and light forum styles, hence the profile pages looked OK on my dark styles, but terrible on my light ones.
What I would like to know is, is whether this has now been fixed? On 4.1.0 PL1 my profile pages looks exactly the same still. Do I have to revert them back to default now? And how do I do this? (Seeing that I ran that query.)

    Thanks.

The only thing that changed is that you no longer need to run that query. The admin may tweak his profile and then click a button to set it as default for all users.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Well, you actually make changes to the whole profile page, so it should look the same on a dark or light background in that area.

the profile page itself just looks terrible. see the attached images.. How do I get this stuff aligned properly without having to do major edits and then have them all erased on the next update?

Monitor resolution + custom plugins + custom style; things are a bit funky there - but the default style can't necessarily accommodate for all cases such as this. Template is set to be fixed also.

All this mess was never an issue prior to 4.0.8. And I am aware of the fact that the profile pages can be customized and will look the same on light and dark styles. And that is the point. If it looks good on a dark style, it looks terrible on a light style, and vice versa. Can we get a fix for this please.

Not sure what you mean since there was no custom profile option in vB4 until 4.0.8. Also custom profiles looks fine in light styles. Mine for instance.

mine was the same i changed a dark style and when i clicked set as default it changed every style to that and the light styles were all messed up you would think it would only change that style not every style you have on your forum

Yes there is a bit of over load on the custom things but the default is just as bad if not worse. I removed a couple custom things so tabs don't show up. As the page loads all is well on my profile until the Customize your profile tab shows up and pushes the other tabs above it. Looks like crap.

When I go to a user page who has the default settings, the text is all dark and nasty and while the tabs are aligned properly at the top the stupid link that says view your conversations covers the lest two of them up.

the placement of the customize and view this conversation is just dumb. Did anyone ever consider just moving them into the left menu under SETTINGS??
