[Forum] Adding a Photo in the header's Background... how?

I would like to add a photo in the header's background but can't figure out how or where... any help would do.

If you just want to add a small image there, you can either edit the header template to add it, or put it in the Ad Manager (I am pretty sure that is one of the locations).

No, it doesn't work like that... it used to but not in version 4.0.8

If I change the header_background in stylebar it changes the user profile buttons too with the same setting... it's so wierd but that's what it does. I've done it.

Have you tried just adding a background to the class via the additional.css template?

In the 'header_background' StyleVar, I see url("images/gradients/gradient-grey-down.png") being set in the background field. I'm assuming that's not the path to the image you're using?

No that's not the image.... I just change the image and look what happens when I do that.



Any changes I do to the header_background in stylevar takes effect in the user profile buttons... awkward!!!

I fixed this by going to my profile and customized the Button Background to the following - url(images/gradients/gradient-grey-down.png). The problem is that only changes My Profile... not the rest of the user's profiles. Maybe if I can chage everybody's profile it would fix it.

Regarding your header, take out the colour value (#2C2D2D) or set the colour to transparent and you will see your image in the background.

Regarding the profiles, this is a bug in 4.0.8. To set these for a default profile for all users, please see this article:
