    [Forum] Can I add an image to each forum?

    I have searched the forum, looked in my vBulletin book and can't find the option in the acp.

    My current forum has a number of forums and each forum has it's own little image.

    I can't see anyway to add an image to each forum as I create them in vbulletin.

    Am I missing something, again????
    Regards
    Trevor

    You could add it into the forum description field. Or are you talking about the forum status images? You may add a prefix in the forum manager there so you have unique status icons for that forum.

    Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

      That's perfect. Many thanks for your help again.

      I added the image source code to the description field and now have an image as required.

      I didn't know you could do that!!!!! :-)
      Regards

          Hi

          I just uploaded the images I currently use on my phpbb forum to the images/misc folder.

          I then added
          Code:
          <IMG SRC="/images/misc/Automotive.jpg" ALT="Automotive Section">
          in the forum description box just after the description.

          It looks like this www.television-magazine-forum.co.uk/forum.php

          Not finished or working yet but you get the idea. I was very pleased as that is how the current forum is. I am sure there is a flashier solution but it will beyond my capabilities
          Regards
          Trevor

            Whilst search for the same solution, this thread popped up. We're migrating from phpBB3 to vB4 and our old forum had images for each Forum listing. The code I've added is different;
            <img src="http://www.mysite/images/myimage.jpg" align="left" hspace="5">
            That places the image neatly under the Forum Name, with text left justified 5px from the image. See;

            Cheers
            Ben

                Or you can use the Forum Category Icons mod from Dark Wizard on the org.

                    I changed to your code but also included the ALT bit. That looks much better. I think I would like to change the text colour as well on my forum. More research to do.

                      OK, so I can't add HTML to the Title of each forum. So how do you alter the Title colours???????
                      Regards
