[Forum] New installation issues. Cant post in new forums.

Brand new installation.

No mods.

No issues until I try to make a post in one of my forums........

Error: "Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"

Not impressed.

Zachery, im the phone now to girl in the Philippines about this, she says the the database is showing a "0", not sure if that's any help

Could the issue be with the php file I edited before upload?

Shouldn't be, vBulletin not getting its query string information is not something that should come from editing any of the vBulletin files.

Ok I have some info on this, it appears that the server I am on cannot handle VB. Due to some sort of string issue. This puts me in a very awkward position. And im not quite sure what to do next

Find a less crappy webhost, vBulletin should run fine in windows & IIS.

Just because they say it and they maybe host more than anyone else doesn't make them the best.

But I have found another smaller UK based provider for more than a 8th of the price, and they boast their VB hosting. And thay have a fast VB forum to prove it.
