For what its worth and for future reference, one person is assigned to a ticket and will see it though to the end. Please note that due to being human beings instead of robots, we need to eat, sleep, drink, and from time to time get in our hamster wheel that we're provided. We'll be back as soon as we can to help.

Its ok Zachery, just a little light humor, as you know I'm only human as well. And I have a massive impulse problem

          I do understand.

Could the issue be with the php file I edited before upload?

Shouldn't be, vBulletin not getting its query string information is not something that should come from editing any of the vBulletin files.

Ok I have some info on this, it appears that the server I am on cannot handle VB. Due to some sort of string issue. This puts me in a very awkward position. And im not quite sure what to do next

Find a less crappy webhost, vBulletin should run fine in windows & IIS.

Just because they say it and they maybe host more than anyone else doesn't make them the best.

We do not make official recommendations, but we do have a hosting review forum here:

Discuss PHP and MySQL hosting here. Find out which hosts people like, and which to stay well clear of.

You can also look at http://www.webhostingtalk.com, an independent review site. Sometimes you will find hosting specials there that aren't available elsewhere on the web.
                        Vote for:

                        - Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
                        - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)

                          Thanks Trev,

But I have found another smaller UK based provider for more than a 8th of the price, and they boast their VB hosting. And thay have a fast VB forum to prove it.

Also this is the email I received from FastHost:

                          *********

                          Dear David

work when you try to access this address http://www.teamstarz.net/forum/forum.php > Main Forum > error... We apologize for the inconvenience

                          solve it.

Just something for others to watch out for if any of you are thinking about VB and FastHost.

                          Thanks for the help guys.

They disabled query strings for security? Run away quickly, please.
