[Forum] Feature or MOD about a new voice into the post form

Hi,
I've bought the CMS few time ago and I'm still learning how to use it to the best for my objective.

One feature I need is the possibility for my users to write post by post the name of "character" who is speaking in that moment.

I'm trying to create an Role Play Game board and I'd like to have the possibility that in each forum will compare:

USER's Name (as normal) and on side his character name he would make speaking.
Moreover if a reader want to speak with this character (and no to the user or author) the Private Message go to the USER mailbox but with subject the name of character instead the name of the thread.

At the least also the picture, avatar, is changable every time the user post, to put the image of the character and not his image. (and is only for that post).

Is possible all of this with a MOD you know and can suggest me or a possible next feature optionable?

Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

I've found this mod I'm asking for in another simpler forum free... Is it possible that in vBulettin, so powerfull board, is not possible to develop this function???

After registration in the upperleft corner you find the picture and info of you agent (in this case created into the game) and you have the possibility to switch among them everytime you want...

I Ask some similar in the same db of vBulettin and every user can change it when they wants (es. 5 for free user, every character more has a cost to pay).

I want also to pay for this, no problem, but I prefer that some one has created the software can do it and keep it for any upgrade of it.

Have I payed for the wrong software? I was wrong to use vBulettin for my revolutionary project instead use any open source forum for free???

I am sorry that vB does not includes that specific feature, but currently it does not. Please feel free to make a 'New Feature' request here:

We take all suggestions into account when determining the feature set for new versions but unfortunately we cannot confirm whether a particular feature will be included in a version.
