[Forum] User profile background colour

hi,

I am running vbulletin 4.0.8 and trying to change the background color of the box on the LHS of the user profile page.

You can see in the link below that the bgcolor is light grey, which makes the white links very hard to read.

I've changed the "profile_sidebar_background" stylevar to a bright green color, but it is not having any effect.

I tried this also but realize that 4.0.8 is using a profile module system that cannot be edited yet trough style vars.
This is just form my understanding , I could be wrong

Where do we put this? I am having a similar problem and its preventing people from editing their profiles.
