[Forum] Determing the post ID from the attachment table entry?

OK, this might seem like an odd question but I think I am missing something obvious...

If I am looking at the attachment table directly, how do I determine which post table ID the attachment entry is associated to?

(vB 4.0.6 table)

attachment table - PostID's are in the column "contentid"

I realized what was throwing me off finally... the IDs in the attachment table in the db I was looking were CMS article attachments and not post attachments. Made a big difference.
