[Forum] Random posts being placed into Moderation Queue

Over the last few days ive had a few members posts being placed into the moderation queue

Im not sure how to explain it at all, as 1 minute it worked fine, so instead of going through everything, that i havent changed. Im going to assume its a bug.

Anyone come across this? is there anything i can check to get a quick answer?

Im worried some of my new members arent coming back because of problems like this.

Here is a screenshot of one of my Moderators... his posts were placed in moderation!

The only thing that i have maybe spotted with the few users its happened to, are multiple usergroups, have i set the Display usergroup correct, or should this be default?

    1. Check the overall Usergroup settings for the relevant usergroups and make sure moderation is turned off:

Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Edit Usergroup -> Follow Forum Moderation Rules -> Yes

    2. Check the individual forum settings to make sure moderation is turned off:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Edit Forum -> Moderate Posts and Moderate Threads -> No

    3. Check ALL the usergroup permissions for that forum (Forum Permissions). One of the usergroups they are in has Follow Forum Moderation Rules set to 'No'. This needs to be set to 'Yes'.

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Permissions -> Edit (appropriate forums and usergroups) -> Follow Forum Moderation Rules

    4. Make sure the Primary usergroup has 'Allow Users to have Member Groups ' set to 'Yes'. Otherwise secondary permissions are not considered.

    5. If you have the Anti-Spam Service setting turned on, it could be automatically moderating some posts:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Spam Management -> Anti-Spam Service

If you have Akismet or Typepad chosen then that is what is moderating these posts.

thanks for the in depth explanation, but all of there are correct. Only thing i can think of is it something like my Spam-O-Matic mod, its only done this with under 10 posts. So i guess ill see how it goes

Then this is almost certainly due to a mod.
