Hi, i'm using on the CMS the 2 Column + Sidebar (33%, 66%, 300px) grid. But I would like the left column to have a max-width of 220px. This is because when the user has 1280+ resolution there is much space wasted on the left bar and this precious space can be used on the center column.

If you want to change the dimensions, you will need to create a custom grid to use. Create a grid that is close to what you want and then flatten it, modify it with custom css, then create a layout to use from that grid and assign it to your section.
