[Forum] RSS Feeds

I'm trying to set up a feed that will automatically post a new topic with gaming news every ~12 hours or so. I've seen other sites that do the same thing, so I know its possible, I just don't know how to do it. I've tried setting up one but I keep getting different errors based on what kind of link I put, so I assume its the links.

A quick walkthrough on this? A sample RSS feed link to put in the URL spot in the ACP?

What are the links you're trying to use? Generally speaking, an RSS feed will show as RSS when you past the URL into your browser window as well. You cannot use specialty links like ones directly to Feedburner. You would have to use the "XML" version of Feedburner links. You also cannot use links that lead to a standard HTML page.
