[Forum] Backgound Image in Header

Since there has been changes with the version 4.0.8 and when I change the background image in header background under stylevars changes my profile buttons...

How can I put an image as background in the header without doing it in header background in stylevars?

No I haven't....

I just can't understand why the user's profile buttons are using the same settings of header_background in stylevars. That's where I used to change the header background but now I can't because the profile buttons change too. Is this going to be fix in the next update?...

This was something that could be easily done in version 4.0.7 and now I need to consult vbulletin.org to do this?... In version 4.0.7 I simply open the stylevars and under foruminfo_header_background I change the Background Image setting. If I do that now I change the user's profile button colors too. The same stylevar changes 2 different things. Now, I understand this is something I need help from vBulletin.com and not a modification from vbulletin.org.

I am having the same problem since upgrading from 4.0.6 to 4.1.0, and must say that I am shocked by the attitude from the developers toward this issue (and I am not only talking about this thread, but also the various JIRA issues on the matter).

It is obviously a bug - a severe one at that - not a "feature request" nor an "improvement".

It simply makes no sense to use the same stylevar for both header background and text on profile pages. It is not only the background image, but also the background colour (in "header_background"), that is illogically used for the profile page text.

Can't you just admit you made a mistake during your stylevar refactoring and correct this a.s.a.p.?
