[Forum] 4.08 customize profile stopped working completely after working once.

Well thought it was to good to be true that most things worked..

Apart from the odd characters in the "page x of x" that can even been seen on this forum profile customization worked ONCE and now refuses to work at all.

After upgrade I pressed the customize profile on my account and all the dialogues came up fine so I clicked off that to test the rest of the site and when i came back to try it again. No matter what browser or account I try it on it fades the header and then nothing (apart from my laptop fans start to speed up!)

Any ideas?!

BTW: Disabled plugin system and it still does it.

All files uploaded? There were a lot of new files. Templates reverted?

I had the same problem. By any chance are you using remote YUI? The option is in VB Options under server options if I recall. Turn that feature off and it should start working, well it did for me anyway.

Oh great now the asset manager doesn't work when you try and add an image.

It doesn't come up with a folder selection and also it's always slightly off the screen

I had hope the so called improvements to the QA process would stop these things from happening!

I'm using my mobile so can't confirm the asset manager bug, sorry.
