I stay as current as possible - 4.07.
All I did was upgrade in place and noticed the pages seemed noticeably slower.
Granted, many things could be blamed - but it is the first time (since 4 beta) that I saw such a dramatic slow-down.Comment

You can make vbulletin three, four times faster very easy. Take a look at the waterfall diagram and see which parts take so long for downloading. You can put the parts in other areas of your document, or just remove them.
