Database error in vBulletin :

mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
/home/deltafx/public_html/includes/class_core.php on line 313

So I was changing the Undeletable and unalterable users in the config.php. It was set as "1", I changed it to "," to replace the 1(#1 user)(obvviously). and IT gave me no error message on http://www.GooNsquadRejects.com . Until I came across this install folder /.

I reuploaded the config.php file FAIL
I reuploaded entire folder FAIL
I reupload class_core.php FAIL

You need to look at two things here:

"Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'"

That suggests that you have a permission problem with that database username accessing your database

Also:

Don't leave the comma in there, if you're taking the userid out, leave it as this:

$config['SpecialUsers']['undeletableusers'] = '';

I honestly don't have that type of access to even do that, unless you can do it from the FTP .

Access to do which bit? Database permissions - check with your host. File edit, download it via FTP, edit it locally and upload it again.
