    [Forum] moderator,super moderator, global moderator

What is the difference? They appear to have the same admin options in the modcp.

Also..in modcp how do I remove the ability to prune threads and search IP's for moderators?

Global Moderators and Super Moderators are just different names for the same thing. They have moderator permissions in all forums.

Moderators usually are assigned to a single (or several) forum and then only have moderator permissions in that forum.

You would set the minimum 'powers' that you wish the mods to have in their usergroup, and then add powers for them in Forums & Moderators > Show All Moderators > Edit Permissions. This is where you would set permissions for whether they may Prune Threads (along with several other things).

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

I personally set super mods as "full moderation in forums, blogs" and global mods as "full moderation in forums, blogs, cms".

CvP, so you created a new Usergroup called Global Mods?
