  • [CMS] Switch Editor mode button erases all content

    Not sure if this was discussed before, but after doing a quick search, havent found posts about this. Looked at Jira and found some issues but most were fixed on previous versions and are not exactly the same problem.

    If I write an article for the CMS, as soon as I press the "Switch Editor Mode", all the content I wrote disappears. Everything gets erased. This only happens in the CMS, not forums or Blogs.

    I'm using vBulletin Suite 4.0.7. Only mod is vBSEO 3.5.2 but it happens when I disable it as well. Does this happens to everyone?

    I cannot replicate the issue on same build.
    What browser, and version of browser are you using?

      Firefox 3.6.10.

      With Chrome latest version it doesnt show the button (i believe Chrome is not supported, so thats ok) and with IE 8 latest version, it does nothing when I click the button.

      Again, only in CMS.

        I tried to replicate in IE8 and IE9, and it was working as expected.

          When I try IE 8.0, I just noticed I get the following error:

            Ok, please enter the following line in your config.php file, just under the first line, <?php

            PHP Code:
            define('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);
            Do you still see the issue?

            Create a new style, with no parent. Do you still have the issue?

              Tried both and nothing. Same problem.

              This is a 3.6.5 forum migrated to 4.0.7. According to the docs, first I migrated to 3.8.0 and then 4.0.7. Not sure if that's why something is broken.

                  I think I'll just reinstall everything and test with another copy of my database. See if that works now.

                  Really appreciate your help
