Looking for the stylvar that control the navbar and body border highlighted below

There are several navbar related StyleVars, some more specifics on what you're looking for may help.

And, IIRC, there is no StyleVar for the border round the body, this need to be added manually to the CSS. You can also see this article on how to find which StyleVars control which design element:

yeah i have nailed down all the stylevars except this one. don't need to use firebug. anyone else can help me, this is tied i believe to the body wrapper. any ideas

how do i add this to the css

If you want to add anything, I'd suggest adding it to the additional.css template under the same class name, in this case - body_wrapper.
