I don't know if your code is correct. If you need help with writing the code, you should be posting over on vbulletin.org, the modification site. (I do notice you are mixing your quotes which might cause issues.) I do not know anything about that modification either. If you have questions about it, you should be asking in the modification thread.

You said you were getting a blank page at the beginning of this thread when you are using this code, so I suggested you make sure the code is valid and it looked like it was not (according to the link I posted).

    Hi Lynne,

    Is below code correct ??

    PHP Code:
    <object width="550" height="400"><embed type='application/x-shockwave-flash' src='{param}' width='500' height='500'></embed></object
as above is giving an error, when trying to add to the bbcode...

    PHP Code:
The following BB Code replacement may not be properly formedAll HTML attributes should be enclosed within double quotes.  <object width="550" height="400"><embed type='application/x-shockwave-flash' src='{param}' width='500' height='500'></embed></object

Also some question on below topic... does this cause a security issue for the forum ??

    PHP Code:

    Thanks.

That is not proper code to embed a flash file. Take a look at this - http://www.w3schools.com/flash/flash_inhtml.asp You need the <object> code also.

After you fix the code, if it is still not working, please post a link to a page that we can view that has the problem.

Yes, custom bb code for swf

    Hi,

Yes, I was using a custom bb code for this.. see below:

    <embed type='application/x-shockwave-flash' src='http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/productinfo/features/fma/fma_upgrade.swf' width='500' height='500'></embed>

    Example: [swf]http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/productinfo/features/fma/fma_upgrade.swf[/swf]
