    Sorry, I've just seen this.

I had both sites replaced with a backup, but my husband's forums have just been hacked AGAIN! I'm going to submit a ticket with details now.

What would vB need to investigate this?
Then i can aks my host to give me the needed info and log in's if they need them.
You can ask them at your member area when you open the support ticket and they will tell you themselves what they will need

    Today again...
We run on vB 4.0.6 and the server is secure.
It is possible that the hacker get's in through an other site and i know that.
But it is always my forum that is the first to go!!
I have the suite and payed alot for it!
So if there is a leak i really want to see this fixed!!!!

About 1.5 year ago i lost my db to a hacker. (4 years on information!)
We had a hard time getting back on our feet and lost about 3000 members!!!!

I'm am now checking with my host for more info about the hacker (at least his name)
Are you using 4.0.6 or 4.0.6 PL1? Try to open a ticket with both, your host and vb so they can investigate things on their end as well to see what was the cause of the hack.

I subscribe to various security related sites which list compromised sites, there are thousands listed. I've also personally cleaned one SMF forum, one vBulletin forum and three WordPress installations on behalf of my clients.

Just Google the information given in the OP's image and you'll pull up hundreds of compromised sites.

One of the main things to secure your forum is to always stay up to date with the latest version. So you might want to upgrade to the latest version of the 3.8x series.

I very much doubt that the site owner knows the hacker responsible for this.

It's not just vBulletin sites that are being taken out. This hacker or his code is currently compromising thousands of sites across a whole range of platforms.

Well my site has been hacked.

I thought that would be one advantage of hosting with your cloud. Extra security. But now I just have a site that's a complete mess.
