  • [Forum] Change Registration Links in vBulletin

Hello all! Have a question about changing links in vBulletin. We have an integration system that integrates Joomla, Kayako, vBulletin, and WHMCS and to simplify things, we'd like to change the registration links and forgot password links in vbulletin to point to our integrated registration or forgot password page so vbulletin fields will be populated with fields that will go into Joomla and WHMCS.

So, with all the links to registering in vbulletin, is there a way to change all of these to point to a different registration page outside of vbulletin? I noticed the phrase shows:
    Code:
    <a href="register.php?{1}" rel="nofollow">register</a>
    Any ideas?

Change that phrase to point where you need it to go and all locations that use it will point to the new location.

Wayne, if we didn't change the actual phrases, do you think that creating a redirect in register.php forcing them over to our registeration.php file would work as well? Would this cause any issues with vbulletin?

With a proper redirect, it would work. As long as the user records get created properly in vBulletin, the software won't care what form is used to register them.

I would add a plugin at Hook register_start to redirect the users, so even somebody calls register.php direct, they would be redirected
