How do I find a template

Sorry I didn't mention what I wanted to do because from what I have seen in the forums I thought the only answer I would get would be the statement about can not support edits and a redirect back to vbulletin.org

But Since its you asking LYNNE I am Working on learning coding and template edits and wanted to play with some Ideas on my test site for coding images with links to show according to what the user enters into the profile field instead of just the text....

Biggest problem I'm having on vbulletin.org is I cant find for the life of me a step by step beginners tutorial on creating a product. From speaking to a coder I am under the assumption that if I can submit some of my template edit Ideas it may open up the coders forums and I may be able to find the information there.

Kinda backwards a bit if you ask me but I'm one for a challenge...

To find the template of interest, do this - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. (Sometimes the template is the one mentioned at the very top of the page source.)

(You didn't really say what you want to do, so I don't know that this will help you much.)

How do I find the template for a custom profile field or for the custom profile field category?

I.E. I have custom profile fields that are listed under the category "Gamer Info"
