    I know in the blog you have to edit the post and change "comments" to "no". Presumably the OP could change that back to "yes" if they wanted to, so this isn't a real solution - more of a workaround. Try it with the CMS and let us know if it works.

    No, it's either Global (stop posts being made to the Comments forum) or disallow comments from the article completely - however this removes all from view.

    You might want to make a suggestion for this in the Tracker under 'Improvement Request'.

    Is there a way to close comments on CMS? I'm going to have a challenge on my website where people put their answer in the comments, but want to close the comments after a certain date.
