[Forum] Show subforum on main page

I read the posts regarding this issue and tried to apply it to V 4.0.5...the phrase in the template the mods are suggesting to edit does not exist neither in forumhome_forumbit_level1_post nor in forumhome_forumbit_level2_post...

Can someone help me please?

What have you got the following set to in AdminCP > Settings > Options > Forum Listings Display Options:

Depth of Forums - Forum Home
Depth of Forums - Forum Display
Depth of Sub-Forums
