  • [CMS] Problems saving CMS articles since 4.04 upgrade!!!!!!!

Anyone else getting these problems when attempting to save CMS articles with 4.04?

1 - When you type in a title and press enter the usual 'A unique URL alias is required' message pops up, press OK and it seems to be saving, but instead it strips out both the SEO URL alias and HTML <title> tag fields - leaving both blank!!!

2 - When you save a new article, it doesn't appear on screen - you just get a page titled 'New Article' with the same words as the only content where the article should be. You then have to go to edit the 'New Article' and re-save it for the actual article to appear!!!

Are either of you using any datastore cacheing?

Erm, not that I know of. What is it, exactly?

My readers were complaining that they couldn't read some articles, so I re-loaded and saved them again and voila!

Good first step would be to clear the cms cache, sometimes that will fix issues.

Check your CMS permission settings. On one occasion mine mysteriously changed.

Nope, those are fine. It's set to all usergroups can read.

Now I'm seeing this in 405. Anyone ever solve it?

edit: NM. I see one can click the title and the SEO box is filled with an acceptable entry.

widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
