  • [Forum] New Registrations Blank on Home Page

    Hello,

I am running 4.0.3. When new users register, the username is blank on the home page after where it says, "Welcome to our newest member," I recently updated from 3.8.4. Any suggestions? The latest member registration from 3.8.4 was visible, but any new members after the upgrade do not appear but do appear in the "Members Who Visited Today" list. You can see it here:

    Thanks!

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to see on that page - everything looks fine to me.

Try using a default template and see if their name shows up:
Create a new style with no parent:
    • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
    • Parent Style: No Parent Style
    • Title: Default vBulletin
    • Allow User Selection: Yes
    • Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Yes, I just approved that member via moderation and he showed up. So, is that a default function that the field remains blank until the user is approved? Thanks!

Well, the field will not show an user who has not completed the registration process (Users Awaiting Email Confirmation) or that are moderated (Users Awaiting Moderation)
