How would you do that as an Image?
You can use the embed taghttp://blogs.adobe.com/pdfdevjunkie/...tag_to_di.html

ragtek: I assumed a screen capture, but maybe he means something else. Thanks for the link, I'll play with that. Interesting possibilities, Thanks!Last edited by nakedanvil; Sat 29 May '10, 8:03pm.

Well I have the new Adobe flash PDF player almost doing it! Close but no cigar. I'll leave it on so you can see the result HERE Still playing with it. The file is uploaded to my Acrobat.com workspace and displays there fine so I know the file is valid. Then I put the embed code in the article. Looks like it's working but it never finishes loading.Last edited by nakedanvil; Sat 29 May '10, 8:52pm.

If I wrap it in code tags it actually displays but in a code window and the nav does not work. Guess I don't understand how code tags are supposed to work.Last edited by nakedanvil; Sat 29 May '10, 10:22pm.

Code tags are not what this is for. Code bbcode tags allow you to post code without it not showing / rendering, ie. to show a user a php code, etc. HTML bbcode, for HTML, so forth.
You need to create something more like a custom bbcode in the ACP which has your code within it, and you do in such a way so that all you have to enter within your custom bbcode tags is the location. You can read more in the ACP on creating custom bbcode.
Yes, something like Snagit and many other screen capture programs will allow you to capture PDF and display it as an image instead.

I used the code tags to display the code, that's why I was surprised when it executed rather than displaying the code.Last edited by nakedanvil; Sun 30 May '10, 10:30am.

Ok, I don't understand the over code you seem to have showing in your examples. For example, I just grabbed a random pdf from a site and embedded it within my cms article without fault, obviously with html active for me:
HTML Code:<embed src="http://www.lc.unsw.edu.au/onlib/pdf/plag.pdf#toolbar=0&navpanes=0&scrollbar=0" width="900" height="600">
