  • [Forum] Search Function Issues

    My search function has stopped working and threads that have posts are reflected as having 0 posts. I have 4.0.3 running.

    Here's the error I get when I search for "spine"

    SELECT searchcore.searchgroupid , searchgroup.dateline
    FROM vb_searchcore AS searchcore
    JOIN vb_searchcore_text AS searchcore_text ON (searchcore_text.searchcoreid = searchcore.searchcoreid)
    JOIN vb_searchgroup AS searchgroup ON (searchgroup.searchgroupid = searchcore.searchgroupid)

    WHERE MATCH(searchcore_text.title, searchcore_text.keywordtext) AGAINST ('spine' IN BOOLEAN MODE);

    MySQL Error : Table './justin_vb/vb_searchcore_text' is marked as crashed and should be repaired
    Error Number : 145

    Your searchcore_text table is crashed. Go to Maintenance > Repair / Optimize Tables > select the table from the list > Continue. You may have to do this a couple of times before it says OK.

    Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

      Thank you, Lynne. That did the trick.

      Threads still show a post count of 0 when a thread has multiple replies.
