    Then just PM them to update the links. No need to move the thread. Chances are they'll just ignore you anyway.

    I don't undertand that. I don't think. If a thread has dead links, why not just remove the dead links? Why move the thread? Or why bother with it at all?

    If you just put a [temporary] redirect, they'll get to it anyway. No notification needed.

    It's possible to implement this, but it isn't a a built-in option with the standard software.

    I suggest asking for a modification over at vbulletin.org

    is any way to move a thread...and notify automatically the thread´s author that the thread was moved from "x forum" to "other forum" ?
widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
