I do, but it's easier to tell someone that, than the detailed instructions on clearing cookies.

(In some cases, I believe that said instruction would lead to the person clearing the 'cookie path' and 'cookie domain' on their vBOptions.)

Well, for the time being I have enabled 'Add No-Cache HTTP Headers'

Hoping a patch/fix comes out soon to try to solve what seems to be an issue for more than just myself.

    Thanks all

again, I am aware of why it should be like that (overall), and since it apparently doesn't pertain to my current problem I would like to move on.

It really shouldn't, but it is good in that it forces one or the other, in case the cookie domain is incorrectly set. (ie: if it is NOT .domain.com.. if it IS blank, or domain.com or www.domain.com. and you only want to use one.)

Thanks Kamern for your suggestions and ideas. It's tough to not get frustrated about this. Mainly because my bosses are down my throat over something I feel as though I have little control over.

It appears to be a problem in VB 4.0, you might just have to grin and bear it, at least, until a member of the vbulletin staff can find out why this is an issue and release a patch.

I have tested this on Firefox, chrome, safari, and opera.

Firefox has a few web developer plug-ins installed but that's about it.

A friend of mine has this issue too, but it seems to be localised, as in, I'm not able to recreate it. What web browser are you using? And are you using any plugins such as AdBlock?

I can add that, but can you explain how that matters in this particular case?

I am entering the forum via http://www.mydomain.com during all of this.

I understand why it matters if people were coming to the forum http://mydomain.com
