• [Forum] Error when trying to login to admincp after upgrade...

I just upgraded a forum hosted on godaddy to vb4 thought everything was going good, forum although its still closed seems to be loading up fine...however when trying to access either the admincp or the modcp I get the following error

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/content/c/h/r/xxxxxx/html/vBulletin/includes/init.php on line 321

I would try uploading all you files except for images again.
Be sure you are loading them as text.

Or at least includes/init.php but you may have problems elsewhere.

Is it running php 4? I think you need to edit a file or something in order to use php 5 on their servers.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

Yes it is running 4, anyone know how to resolve the issue

Before the upgrade, I noticed all their .php files were named .php5

nevermind, found an option in godaddy to run .php under php5 and it seems to load fine now
