    This fixed it for me also. So is it a "legit" fix?

    The 'fix' works because you are now calling a class called "contenthasad" which doesn't exist, instead of class="content hasad". The real issue is why is the condition going to true for you guys. It is fine on my 4.0.3 site. I even just created a new thread with a very long paragraph in it in a totally default style and it shows just fine for me. So, why is it not fine for some people, but fine for others?

    edit: Actually, now that I thought about it, I am still running just 4.0.3 since the patch is only for those using adsense, which I am not. Silly me! {{{slaps self on head}}}

    Indeed.

    (A good call, not having a specific Dev's name showing against the template edit time.. all we know now is that 'Jelsoft' put in a conditional that had a space before the variable. )

    I am, fresh upgrade of 4.0.3, on a default style.

    It's very reminiscent of the bug that was introduced in 4.0.1 (I think that was the version) where the ad div shows up regardless of whether an ad is defined.

    I'm not getting this at all on my site.

    Create a new style with no parent:
    • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
    • Parent Style: No Parent Style
    • Title: Default vBulletin
    • Allow User Selection: Yes
    • Save

    Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?
