Apologies to everyone. It was the wrong forum. I posted in here because I thought it would involve someone posting vb code.
I've got my header back thanks to Lynne and Wayne, learnt a few new things about vb too in the process so although I am deeply ashamed of my outrageous behavior over all the thread went well.

You can get the contents from your install/vbulletin-style.xml file. But, a better way it to upload tools.php to your admincp and restore the master style there. You may need to add this line near the top of your tools.php file also if you get an error:
Code:define('VB_ENTRY', 1);
