  • [Forum] Show Custom Selected User Profile Image on Postbit

I run a football forum and i'm wondering how I can show the crest of their supported team so it shows in the postbit.

Basically It will be via Add New User Profile Field in the admin cp, but how would I achieve this?

    Thanks

You would just get the field id and add it into the postbit:

    HTML Code:
    <vb:if condition="$post['fieldx']">{vb:raw post.fieldx}</vb:if>
You may have to create a plugin to define an image based on post.fieldx, in which case you would put that variable there.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Thanks for the reply Lynne, I would need help in writing the plugin, so if anyone knows how to do this exactly then it would be great if you could tell me how to do it.

The place to ask for help writing plugins is over on vbulletin.org, the modification site.
