[Forum] Additional Information taken from Profile

Yesterday I went from 3.7.3 to 4.0.2. I had only planned to go to 3.8.4 but somehow I managed to go to 4.0.2.

As part of our Profile, we capture things like Club Membership Number.

I cannot find where to add such an additional Profile item, and I would like it to be displayed every time the user posts on the left hand section.

I have been unable to find a VB4.0 online manual, so would appreciate some guidance from the community.

I have edited postbit_legacy to get the data in, by adding the following line.

<vb:if condition="$post['field5']"><h1>{vb:raw post.field5}</h1></vb:if> <!--Membership No -->

What I need to do, is add some text in front of the variable. i.e to say Membership No :

How can I achieve that ?

Done, I had to edit the postbit_legacy template. I would rather have been able to add the field as a configurable item, rather then have to hack the VB code.

Anyway, it's done, and one less thing to work on post migration.
