  • [CMS] Yet another CMS issue. Avatars in latest posts widget overlapping text...

Here's a screenshot. Avatars are centered in the widget and are overalapping text comments.

Any idea why this is occurring?

IE is seeing a text-align center on most of your CSS classes. I suggest inspect the classes with IE Developer toolbar, if in fact there is text-align center, remove that. Else if it's just an IE issue, put a IE only CSS file in your headinclude template and put text-align: left in that file for the classes which IE is displaying in the center. Sorry i haven'tt really inspected your CSS classes so this is the fix I can think about off the top of my head.

Thanks for the reply. However, I don't know how to mess with all that css stuff and don't have the time to learn it anytime soon (newborn and work take my time). I'd like VB to fix the issue in a future release so it displays correctly regardless if I'm on IE7 or IE8. I shouldn't have to change coding to get it to display correctly out of the box, especially since most users still use IE vs FF, etc.

To be fair, my site and several other VB4 sites display ok in IE7, so it's most probably something in your configuration.
