Forums broken when removed path /forums/

One other thing, AdminCP -> Post Icons -> Post Icon Manager ; you can change the manual path settings for each icon here. Same goes for smilies. :S

Is your cookie domain .47r-squad.com or (blank)?
If it is (blank) try setting it to .47r-squad.com
Also if you had your cookie path at /forums/ try changing it to /

Ok basically when I go to my website and enter: http://www.47r-squad.com/index.php everything works.
but when I do not include www. everything is broken or not working properly.
I went in the cookies/path option, everything was left to default, not sure what to do.
Anyone?

I don't have anything listed in the path.

If you have your cookie path setup for /forum only, it won't allow you to login etc. when you change the map where the forum is in (because it can't read the cookies...)

Still broken --- there's a path still messed up somewhere.

Your site really wants me to use www but won't let me --- I get a "You're not allowed page" -- If I force it to http://47r-squad.com/ it works, BUT, no images/smilies on the create thread.

Bingo, it was post Icons!
I had to edit it
For some reason it still had /forums/ in it.

Where can I find Post Icons? i am little lost.

In your AdminCP, on the left side on the menus, there is a section called "Post Icons" (towards the bottom) - you can manage each icon via the manager there.

Something is not updating properly ~ I just don't know where the kink is.

The last place I can think of, would be the StyleVars. AdminCP -> Styles & Templates -> Use the drop down menu and select "StyleVars" for your current sytle.

In the vertical box on the left, scroll down to "ImagePaths" -- Check each path entry and see if those are not updated.

I don't think you need to run the install again, this should not be a big deal to fix, just need to find the key item to change. Someone else had this same issue in another thread, this StyleVar check is the last thing that would possible be set wrong.

Try this and then we'll talk about what to do if this fails.

In each of the ImagePath entries, it should be /images/titleofthefolderhere

Looking at the paths, they seem fine, I'll take a look in the post icons tomorrow morning, early work :/

Basically the forum is still looking for the folder /forums/ but its not finding it.
I'd have to go in the database to edit everything out.
Or should I run install.php and reinstall the forums?
Will that fix?
But then again everything is saved in the datbase, that might not help since I am using the same database that I used yesterday that was still running with /forums/ directory.
